did anyone watch this,i did and that police officer that said there is no point in producing imitation firearms is talking a load of BS, the reason we good innocent people enjoy them so much is so we can have REALISTIC airsoft matches, its more realistic so there is more atmostphere... yes there are those "chavs" that buy them for robbing shops and old ladies for there bingo money, but hey, us people who use them for recreational sport should not be penalised for some idiots actions..

Even 99% of the so called "chavs" don't use them for that... After all why by an expensive replica when a banana in a brown paper bag will do the same job 
I didn't see the show but I do see the airsofter's need to use Realistic replicas as a bright coloured bb gun kinda defeats the point of the rest of your camo...
One of my favorite quotes from before the VCRA was brought in was that all of these replicas could be easily converted to fire live rounds  How can they get away with such complete bullshit I don't know

well the liverpool chavs said they could get a shotgun in 5 minutes for ?50
its incredible, and how could you convert an airsoft into a live firer
anyone could easily make a gun if they have ammuntion, all you is a tough tube and something to strike the bullet with to make it fire...

pointless stopping all the law biding people doing a hobby they love, as you said, if you really wanted a firearm, it is not hard to get one. they are attacking the wrong source.
