The small print... and general some advice...

BB Guns Terms & Conditions...
The whole two tone thing... Under the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 all replica BB guns must be either 51% painted certain bright colour or made clear (transparent). It is an offense under section 36 of this act to alter your two tone BB gun in anyway to make it more realistic. This will also invalidate your warranty.
Always make sure you use good quality BBs and do not re-use them if they are cracked, dented or dirty. This is not just us trying to make you buy the BBs from us, I have seen £400 electric rifles rendered useless needing a £80.00 repair simply down to using bad BBs and not stopping firing if there is a jam. If you are having difficulty with a blocked barrel give us a shout and we will do what we can to sort it out for you, however if we find it is caused by low grade BBs it will entail a chargeable repair.
Always make sure your battery is fully charged when firing, if you keep firing when the battery is losing it's charge there is a possibility that the gearbox will lock up (a kind of electrical stall) and this can sometimes need a chargeable repair. Before you panic and send it back to us make sure you give the battery a full charge and try firing the weapons again and if possible borrow a newer battery and test it with that fully charged. If you are still having problems give us a call.
Please note, we have no control over the batteries & chargers origins, with a lot of the Chinese clone AEGs the batteries & chargers are thrown in as free extras to fit the price so we cannot guarantee the quality of these. Due to this and the ease by which a battery can be overcharged we cannot warranty the batteries or chargers.
Shotguns, single action rifles & pistols. These are generally budget rifles and should be treated with care they will last you a long time as long as you don't cock them too violently, insert the mags slowly & don't drop them. This will invalidate your warranty.
Under no circumstances disassemble your BB gun, this will invalidate your warranty and make it even more difficult for us to help you. Even if you BB gun is out of warranty we will do our best to help out with your problem but make sure you contact us first as you are responsible for the costs of the postage and we cannot refund this if the problem is not fixable.
Please note the warranty periods are as follows :-
The low cost plastic gear-boxed electric BB rifles, pistols & low cost single shot pistols have a 30 day warranty.
The mid priced single shot pistols & single shot rifle have a 60 day warranty.
All the other single shot rifles, pistols, electric metal gear-boxed rifles & pistols have a 90 day warranty.
If you use low quality BBs, reuse damaged BBs, disassemble the rifle drop it will invalidate your warranty.
If you have any queries about these policies please don't hesitate to contact us and we will do what we can to help.
Airsoft guidelines & recommendations...
Always wear balistic rated eye protection.
Always keep you safety on until you are ready to fire.
Never leave a loaded BB gun unattended at anytime, even if it is not loaded it is best to keep it locked up as much as is possible.
Never shoot at people or animals except under airsoft skirmish guidelines i.e. only people who are willing to be shot and have signed the appropriatte disclaimer.
Never point your BB gun at anyone or anything that you are not prepared to shoot, there will ALWAYS come a time when you don't think it's loaded but it still has a BB in the barrel.
Never look directly down the barrel (see above!)
Never take you BB gun out in a public place or use it as to cause distress or offense to any members of the public, this in itself is an arrestable offense & may earn you a vist from some of Scotland Yards finest armed response teams (Not fun!)
When carrying your BB gun make sure it is in a closed bag with the safety on, the magazine removed & unloaded and the battery removed.
For all Co2 Pistols & rifles make sure you remove the Co2 at the end of your day's shooting. If you leave it in, it may compress the seals and cause leaks over time.
It is very much recommended that you clean the barrels of all your BBs guns before use. A few of these weapons come a little over packed with grease which can occasionally cause problems. Good for the gearbox, bad for the barrel!

All guns will jam, if yours does don't panic, stop firing as soon as you notice the jam. 1 or 2 BBs are quite easy to clear from the barrel, it gets a lot more difficult when you get more and runs the risk of breaking the internals and needing an expensive repair. Most guns come with a clearing rod, firstly remove the magazine, if it is an electric take the battery out, if it is a single shot of any kind hold the cocking mechanism back and insert the clearing rod down the front of the barrel and use that to work the BBs out through the magazine well one by one. If you are having difficulty give us a shout and we will do what we can to sort it out for you, however if we find it is caused by low grade BBs it will entail a chargeable repair.

Batteries have a relatively simple equation for charge time. The MaH capacity of the battery divided by the Ma power of the charger and multiply the sum by 1.4. So as an example an average battery & charger would look something like this – MaH of battery 1100 divided by Ma of charger 250 = 4.4 x 1.4 = 6.16 so you should charge this battery for 6 hours 10 minutes (approximately). On this first charge of the battery it needs to be 'conditioned' by charging it for around 10% longer. It is perfectly normal for the charger to be warm, sometimes hot, to the touch and for the battery to become warm towards the end of the charging time.
The triple shot shotguns. These have only one potential weakness, if you find that the pump will not go all the way forward do not force it! A BB may have become stuck in the mechanism... Remove the magazine/shell, pull the pump fully back and shake out all the BBs, once they are out carefully slide the grip forward and fire it in a safe direction.
Whenever possible always try and charge your battery from flat and for the full amount of charge time. Sometimes this can entail getting a dis-charger to keep your batteries in top condition. Please note, we have no control over the batteries & chargers origins, with a lot of the Chinese clone AEGs the batteries & chargers are thrown in as free extras to fit the price so we cannot guarantee the quality of these. You AEG will always benefit from getting a higher quality battery & charger, This is why a lot of the higher quality Japanese AEGs come with no battery or charger.
NEVER USE WD40! It may seem over the top to shout, but never ever use WD40 on any of the airsoft guns. The only lubricant you need to use is 100% silicone spray or oil, Mineral oils & WD40 will be absorbed & rot the plastics and rubber seals used inside the weapons. This can turn an annoying accuracy problem that can be cured by a quick squirt of silicon spray & barrel clean into a problem that can completely destroy the working parts of the gun.
A lot of the JG, Dboys & CYMA weapons are coming with high capacity magazines instead of the low capacity ones shown in the instruction manuals. These are quite easy to use, fill up the reservoir with BBs (there will be a sliding door or hatch on top of the magazine) you can usually put 200+ BBs in each. When you have done this hold the magazine upright and start to rotate the cogwheel on the underside of the mag (there is sometimes a hex key to help with this). You will see the BBs start to reach the top of the feed tube on top of the magazine, once they stop at the top every wind will charge an internal spring which will then feed the BBs through as you fire. You should feel when the spring starts to become tight but there is usually an internal safety so under usual circumstances you can't over wind the mag, just stop winding when it starts to click every quarter turn. These are well worth the effort and can give you 150 rounds of firing with a single wind! (magazine defendant)
BB weights, our BBs come in several weights:- 0.12g, 0.2g, 0.25g & 0.3g. As a rule of thumb the heavier the weight BB the higher the accuracy, but the lower the range. The budget pistols & electric rifles will usually use 0.12g BBs, with single shot rifles, higher end pistols & all high end AEGs using at least 0.2g BBs. With certain powered rifles you may get problems with BBs curling off at a specific distance, if you are having these problems try using heavier weight BBs as the curling can be caused by the rifles having too high a power for the weight of the BB used. This is more for the higher powered sniper rifles and over longer distances you may even need to go all the way to the 0.3g BB!
