Decent quality shooting mits, sporting the thinsulate brand name, not a bad thing, they are padded and thick in design, not so much as to make tasks tricky, but thick enough to keep the warmth in and the cold out, the velcro finger cover which is of good design, and is not flimsy, the velcro patch does manage to keep the cover out of the way if so desired, but is easy to quickly cover the fingers or to take off the fingers and 'dock' on the back of the hand when required, the fingers are fingerless bar the thumb which is fully covered like a traditional glove, the palm area of the glove manages to provide the right amount of 'tackiness' for my needs (shooting) so as not to be slippy on a wood stocked rifle. overall, the gloves are of decent design and quality and would be recommended over the cheaper thinner alternatives that exist, they are ideal for me to venture out into the fields in to keep the warmth and keep the fingers dextrous en route, but versatile enough to quickly allow fingertip access to the trigger when your target is in your sights.
