I would have been happier if the silencer was all metal but the main body is plastic, however it is still a solidly made and well constructed.
It can be fitted with the open front site still mounted. (I removed mine 1st day I purchased the rifle)
The silencer reduced the muzzle noise completely; the only noise from the rifle now is the firing pin.
All in all a fantastic bit of kit and a must for anyone who intends to hunt with this rifle.
Rating 9/10 would have been 10/10 if all metal.
Advise worth remembering! Take the allen key into the field with you!
As any Airmagnum owner will know from time to time when you forget you have re cocked the rifle you by accident load a seconded pellet.
The only way to clear it is either pushing them out with a cleaning rod, or in the field taking the mag out and firing at the ground. If you are going to use this method remember to remove the silencer before firing! I didn’t and it blew the front of the silencer off, I was lucky to find the front piece UN damaged and it pushed back in with no adverse affects but as I say I was very lucky.
