Carbine conversion kits are the latest trend for pistol owners. Umarex has taken up the idea and now offers the first expansion system for CO2 guns, the TAC Kit. The TAC Kit consists of a CO2-powered Umarex XBG, which shoots 4.5 mm steel BBs, and the TAC conversion kit. This folding stock system, made of high-strength plastic, has Picatinny rails on the fore-end for mounting accessories and an integrated compensator. In addition, a Picatinny rail with an integrated sight extends over the entire length of the receiver. The pistol can be inserted or removed by taking out a pin at the rear of the receiver, unlocking the TAC stock. In this way the shooter can choose between a rifle and a handgun. The TAC Kit includes a folding tactical front stock grip, a compact Competition II red dot sight and 500 steel BBs.
