The Cybergun x Guns Modify version of the SCAR-L introduces the first MWS (Modular Weapon System) integration into a SCAR platform. This model mirrors its real-steel counterpart in a close-quarters configuration, featuring a 10-inch outer barrel, a single-piece CNC-machined aluminum upper with quad Picatinny rails, and a polymer lower receiver adorned with detailed FN trademarks and engravings. As a Mk 2 version, it incorporates a non-reciprocating charging handle that is slightly angled for better accessibility, even with accessories mounted above.

Equipped with the MWS ZET system, this rifle offers partial compatibility with MWS aftermarket parts, allowing for extensive customization. Developed by Guns Modify, it promises outstanding performance as the first SCAR-L with an MWS system. The internals include components from their previous launches, such as the EVO Bolt Set, Trigger Box, and Magazine. The only non-compatible part is the SCAR-L bolt assembly, though the nozzle and piston assembly can be swapped with MWS components.

The SCAR-L comes paired with the Guns Modify P-MAG v3 GBB M4 Mag, a revolutionary lightweight 35-round magazine featuring a core-and-case design for easy reloads. Simply push the butt plate open and press the button inside to slide the core out. For optimal performance, it's recommended to apply silicone oil to the exterior of the core, as it may be stiff out of the box. A functional temperature thermometer sticker on the core helps monitor magazine temperature, ensuring it stays within an optimal range.
