This Gerber knife features a 4.8-inch fine edge, drop-point blade for smooth, versatile cuts which has a full-tang, premium stainless steel construction for durability. The handle is made from an ergonomic, non-slip rubber for comfortable, precise handling. The handle also has lashing holes so the knife can be lashed to a stick to create a spear and a lanyard with loud emergency whistle. The sheath is made from a military-grade, mildew-resistant nylon and it also has a pull-through carbide sharpener built in, for guaranteed sharpness. There is also a fire starter rod in watertight holder built into the front of the sheath. Also included is Bear Grylls “Priorities of Survival” pocket guide.
