Continuing with its success with the .22 and .25 versions of the Prophet II, the P-3 is equipped with RTI's proprietary barrel, and the P-3 ensures outstanding accuracy with both pellets and slugs. The compact version of the P-3 also features the RPB barrel but with a 510mm length. As always with RTI, extreme accuracy is part of the essence of the P-3. That's also why the trigger has been redesigned, delivering an even crisper and lighter pull.

Power and efficiency have also evolved: the redesigned pressure-assisted valve system ensures rapid closure times, providing great energy efficiency, and delivering great power even at low pressures. Additionally, the micro-adjustable hammer tension can be easily adjusted with a simple wheel click, without requiring any tools.

Ergonomics has also been an important area that has featured a marked evolution from the Prophet II. The P-3 features an adjustable ambidextrous cheekpiece that allows for complete customization of the rifle's fit, which combined with the rubber butt-pad provides optimal comfort during use.

The Performance compact version of the P-3 features a newly redesigned externally adjustable regulator, which has improved reliability and also features a new release valve, allowing the user to remove the bottle with the regulator with pressure. It also adds improved handling with its shorter 510mm barrel, which added to its bullpup layout makes this airgun extremely powerful for its size.
