Chambered for both lead pellets and steel BBs, the P229 is a blowback model, its slide will cycle when fired which gen- erates a soild recoil impulse and provides a truly immersive shooting experience. Externally this pistol is equipped with the ergonomically enhanced E2 grip, found on the current P229 models, which conceals our patented cam-lever CO2 loading system. This revolutionary system allows one to quickly change CO2 cartridges without any tools required, and even makes it possible to accomplish using just one hand. The most noteworthy feature though is that this air pistol has an optics cut slide which will accept the SIG AIR Reflex Sight, so you too can join the red dot revolution and take your air gun shooting experience to the next level.

This pistol utilizes the same drop-free magazine from the P226-MK25 that houses twin 8-shot rotary discs with magnetic retainers which is what makes it possible for this air pistol to use .177cal (4.5mm) steel BBs in addition to lead pellets. Other features include a rifled steel barrel with M14x1 CCW threaded muzzle and thread protector, white dot combat sights, a functional decocker and DA/SA trigger.
