Spring Assist Knives Banned

As of 08-03-21 Spring assist knives have been banned under UK legislation.

As part of the Offensive Weapons Act 2019, the definition of (the already banned) Flick Knife has been broadened to include any knife that opens automatically from a closed position, or partially opened position to a fully opened position, by means of any manual pressure that is applied to a button, spring or other device which is contained either within the knife or is attached to the knife.

This has the effect that any knife that falls into the above definition is not only illegal to sell, it is illegal to own.
