Hammer spring adjuster for the FX DRS, it replaces the original brass one and is made of a much more durable stainless steel. The part is a simple swap for the original, and should stop all debris from entering the hammer chamber.

Please note this will not fit the newer blocks with the ball detent adjustment on the hammer spring.

Please not this has to been tested on the other FX rifles and it may or may not fit and this will not be suitable for the FAC / High power rifles.

To install the new adjuster:
• 1. Remove the action from the stock.
• 2. Remove the old adjuster and thoroughly clean the threads in the block. I would also recommend removing the trigger and cleaning the hammer, the trigger sear, and inside the block. A full disassembly video is available here: FX DRS full disassembly (UK 12 Lb/Ft) (youtube.com)
• 3. While you have the hammer spring out I would recommend giving the ends a quick polish to remove any burrs on the spring, although this is optional.
• 4. In the kit you will get a little bag of dry lube and a few cotton buds, you can use the cotton buds to clean the block and I would recommend using a small amount of dry lube on the spring guide of the adjuster screw to keep everything moving nicely and smoothly, although again this is optional.
• 5. Install the new component and then adjust your power back to where it was originally.
