As competitive airsofters, we like to stay ahead of the curve wherever possible. Whether this is finding out about new weapons, mods, or events first, it’s important for us and our business that we have our fingers on the pulse of the airsoft community. There are so many informative, airsoft-based sites out there that have helped us build our knowledge of the game and provided useful hints and tips for us during gameplay. Here are some of our favourite sources for information:

Airsoft Squared

Airsoft Squared continues to be one of the most comprehensive sites for airsoft information, no matter where you are in the world. The site covers news, events, product reviews and loads more, so you’re never short of something to read on there! It’s a great place to start if your new to the game as it has a whole bunch of content that will get you up to speed, along with a great community on the forums that keep the page active and up to date.

Airsoft Society

With a great focus on the community that uses the page, the aptly named Airsoft Society offers users tons and tons of information. The site is based in the US, therefore, expect some of the information to be more useful than others as there will be differences between the two communities. However, on the whole the site and its users are a dedicated bunch and have forums and threads covering pretty much every topic, with people happy to answer any question at all! If you’re looking for engagement and interaction with other like-minded airsofters, this is where you can get your fix.

Popular Airsoft

Popular Airsoft works slightly differently to the previous two sites in that it brings together the best (and worst) of airsoft news. The site offers daily content so there is always something new for you to read, along with a long backlog of articles, reviews and blog posts. They also offer varied and in-depth product reviews, so if you’re thinking of splashing the cash on some airsoft gear, check with this site first and see what they are saying!

Airsoft Obsessed

The title pretty much says it all for this blog, Airsoft Obsessed is run by and directed at people obsessed with the sport! The blog hasn’t seen much action in the last couple months, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t check it out as there are some great articles in the archives and some great photos to accompany them. There is also a YouTube channel that has a range of videos which are definitely worth checking out!

Airsoft & MilSim News Blog

Perfect for those taking their first steps into the world of airsoft and equally as useful for experienced airsofters, this blog is a comprehensive source of all things to do with the sport. Offering reviews of gear and guns, and general airsoft news too; it’s a great place to catch up on all the gossip, the latest Tokyo Marui products and more.

Femme Fatale Airsoft

Set up by owner Kelly, the Femme Fatale Airsoft blog is a leading female-focused airsoft blog and, unlike most of the others mentioned, is based in the UK. The main focus of the site is to provide reviews, which range from guns and gear to sites and events. There are also some ‘how to’ articles and loadout/setup articles to compliment the mix of content. Kelly spends the majority of her time either on the battlefield, writing for the blog or writing for Airsoft Action & PMCI, so she’s airsoft through and through!

Surplus Store

Last, but certainly not least, ourselves. If you’re reading this article, then you already know! This is one of the many articles that we have published on our blog which covers everything to do with airsoft and beyond! If you’re into airsoft, gaming, films and TV or the military, then there are articles on the blog that will interest you, for sure! We like to keep it as diverse as possible, but if there is something we’re not covering, or you want to know our thoughts on a certain topic, get in touch and we’ll do our best to get an article published!
