Shadows of Evil release poster, featuring guns similar to those in our airsoft shop

There may not be a lot of information about regarding the Call of Duty: Black Ops III main story, but a reveal trailer has been released surrounding the zombie mode, and they’ve gone all 1940’s on us!

The Shadows of Evil campaign has drawn in a powerhouse cast of Hollywood A-listers, with Heather Graham, Neal McDonough, Ron Perlman and Jeff Goldblum lending their likeness and voices to the story.

The excellent trailer shows each of the characters committing a series of sins and crimes in their respective fields, which include a less than honest policeman taking a bribe and a boxer fighting dirty in order to earn his title shot. The cast all blackout and awaken in hell on Earth, where they are thrust together in a quest for survival, which is overseen by a sinister character only known as the “Shadow Man”.

Treyarch themselves have described the map as being “massive”, and the “deepest zombie experience to date”, which will leave many scratching their heads, wondering just how it will pan out. Whether you’ll be armed with 1940’s style weapons or the usual odd-ball mix of laser guns that zombies can bring is yet to be announced, but it will be interesting to see how things pan out!

It has also led to many people wondering why it wasn’t produced as a stand-alone game, rather than playing second fiddle to the main Black Ops III gameplay, but all shall be revealed when Black Ops III is released on the 6th November!
