Russian sharpshooter playing the Glockophone using pistols

We found ourselves on the weird side of YouTube again, and uncovered a rather impressive (albeit it strange) video from Russia.

In the video, a Russian sharpshooter called Vitaly Kruchin has proven not only is he very gifted musically, but he’s a rather good shot when it comes to target shooting.

In the video, Kruchin uses two Glock pistols which he fires at the targets to produce notes for the song being played by his musical companions. The targets are painted white and black to resemble piano keys.

The video was released by the International Practical Shooting Confederation of Russia, of which Kruchin is the chief. What the purpose of the video is, we’re not quite sure… But we sure are impressed!

Using his “Glockophone”, he plays a range of songs, starting with Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy”, followed by “Old MacDonald Had a Farm” and finishing with a piece of Russian music known as “Murka”.

Anyone who fancies building their own Glockophone and playing it with some air pistols will gain some serious respects from us all here! Take a look at Kruchin in action in the video below and let us know what you think on our social media channels!
