Because of a lack of space and the prices of real estate in the capital, Central London isn’t renowned for sprawling airsoft venues. However, there are some close-quarters gems to be discovered, and if you can get around the M25, you’re never too far away from finding a large site to test your skills.

Alpha Guns London might not be one for the airsoft purists, but if you’re in the City of London and want somewhere to shoot some pellets, this is definitely something to check out.
AGL offers a range of airsoft shooting games, including shooting ranges for regular airsoft weapons and sniper rifles. The Aldgate site also has a CQB arena, where you can test your reflexes and teamwork or enjoy PvP competitions.
AGL supplies all the gear for their games, including airsoft weapons and safety equipment. All you need to do is rock up (or book online) and let off some steam.

The site here is made up of four acres of woodland and outdoor game zones. It is located less than an hour from central London and can be easily accessed from Kent or Surrey.
If you’re after a full day of battling and strategising, this is one for you, with skirmishes starting at 9:45 AM and continuing until 4 PM. There are also burgers and chips on-site, as well as free Wi-Fi and a shop for airsoft essentials.
Gameplay is diverse and immersive, enhanced by the great outdoor setting with various built structures setting the perfect backdrop.
Reforger Airsoft, Watford

Made up of around 100 acres of land, the Reforger Airsoft site near Watford really does offer the ultimate airsoft experience.
The expansive map includes built-up areas and scenes as well as woodland and natural terrain, ideal for a wide range of game modes and airsoft experiences. Both new and experienced players are more than welcome to join the skirmishes and event days, with the site putting on a mix of regular events and larger MilSims.

This indoor site in Epsom is based in a pre-WWII air raid bunker, providing 50-foot underground tunnels to explore and a unique, authentic CQB experience. GBBs, AEGs, shotguns and pistols are welcome, although all must be set to semi-automatic as it’s a CQB site.
The site also runs training nights so you can hone your skills and learn how to get the most out of your airsoft guns. Booking is recommended as spaces for their events can sell out.
Mayhem Paintball, Abridge

While predominantly a paintball site, Mayhem also runs some airsoft sessions, from two-hour packages for those wanting to try to classic all-day walk-ons at the weekend.
This outdoor site offers lots of diverse maps, including a tank convoy, a radar station, and a plane crash across fields and woodlands. They also have a handful of arenas replicating Call of Duty maps, such as Shipment and Nuke Town, so there’s plenty to get excited about here!
You can bring your own kit to Mayhem’s walk-ons or use their rental package, which gives you an M4 airsoft gun, camo and goggles – ideal if you’re trying to persuade a plus one.
Ambush Airsoft, Cobham

Located between Guilford and central London, Ambush Airsoft comprises six different woodland-based game zones along with a covered safe zone – although you’re encouraged to spend as little time here as possible!
They tend to run skirmishes every Sunday, where they also provide lunch, so you can have a full day of fun testing out their maps for yourself. There’s also a shop on-site for other refreshments and airsoft essentials.

Gunman Airsoft are inspired by games, movies and historical events to provide a range of airsoft game modes – from action-heavy skirmishes to story-based MilSim scenarios. They have a handful of sites in the South East but their Eversley location is around 90 minutes out of Central London.
Eversley is split across two neighbouring sites that run different events. Eversley Alpha is their main location, with acres of differing terrain making for some expansive FilmSim experiences once a month. Eversley Bravo, meanwhile, is a slightly smaller site specialising in faster-paced games, including night matches.
